Welling Sparkle Christmas 2019
Back in 2019, we took on the challenge of raising money to get Christmas lights in Welling Town centre. Initially, a lot of people weren’t interested and some thought it was a waste of money, but we managed to build a bit of momentum and we were able team up with CC Events to create the Welling Sparkle and light 53 of our lamp posts!
Everyone we spoke to loved it and we were really looking forward to organising this great community event again in 2020.

Thank you to the following businesses and groups who sponsored a lamp post and particularly to McDonalds who sponsored 10.
We would also like to thank everyone who donated at least £50 towards the lights and logos for each business were added to our thank you sticker. Supporters who gave at least £10, also received a window sticker to show that they helped Welling Sparkle.
